The movie "Ice
People" is having it's premeire at the San Fancisco Film Festival shortly, and a
trailer is on line here...
Anne and her crew
came down in August in 2006 on an Artists & Writters
Grant.
I took them out to
Black Island with me on a traverse prior to them deploying to the Dry Valleys
with the Geologists. We had a nice bit of
weather blow in while we were out there, some of the footage in the trailer is
from that trip.
The "Condition 1"
video clip just keeps on going and
going. It was on the Good Morning America show a while back, and I keep hearing
about how it appears on various TV shows around the world. A couple of days ago it
popped up here...

My name is Lucia Simion (please see, and an introduction, an interview of me on the Antarctic Sun). I am an "Antarctican" like you, or maybe I should say an Ice addict?
I am writing to you because I read your story and I watched some of the videos on You Tube. I love the one on the Auroras: it is just fantastic and I saw it many times. The music goes very well with the images. I give talks in schools in Italy and in France and I think it would be great to show that video (1:46). I also give talks to audiences of adult people. Up to now always for free, especially in schools. I wonder if you would allow me to use the video of the Auroras in my presentations, of course with your credit. What do you think? Please let me know what do you think about this.
