It's been a few days since I caught up on what we have been up to, but even though I have a bunch of new photos and commentary, I simply must share this image taken moments ago from our room at McMurdo. It seems to sum up this place so well. The beauty and wonder of giant, fluffy snowflakes beginning to fall in the most pristine place on Earth, in contrast to McMurdo Station's delapidated mining-town and rusted metal environment.



I will catch up on the last few days very soon, but now it is time to go out again and set up some more cameras.
